Happy Twentieth Birthday Internet!

We didn’t know it at the time but the events of April 30, 1993 would change our world forever. On that date the World Wide Web went public for everyone to use for free and the very first website went online. This was effectively the birth of the Internet as we know it today. In celebration of this anniversary CERN has relaunched the very first website ever made for us to check out. Looking at it you can’t help but be amazed at how far we’ve come in twenty years.
