Discovering Columbus

From now to November 18th, Japanese artist Tatzu Nishi re-imagines the historic statue of Christopher Columbus which sits on a 75-foot tall column in Manhattan’s Columbus Circle, at the southwest corner of Central Park. The art installation, titled “Discovering Columbus” wraps a a fully furnished, modern living room around the 13-foot-tall statue. The exhibit is free to the public but passes are required for a 30-minute viewing.
