Boston celebrates the 93rd Annual Saint Anthony’s Feast this weekend in Boston’s North End.
Named the “feast of all Feasts” by National Geographic Magazine, this authentic Italian street festival has something for adults & children of all ages. It began in 1919 by Italian immigrants from the small town of Montefalcione in Avellino. It has since become the largest Italian Religious Festival in New England!
Enjoy beautifully decorated streets, over one hundred Italian street foods, and take home some souvenirs & mementos from the day. A ten hour procession of the Statue of Saint Anthony is the highlight of the day as it makes its way through the streets of the North End accompanied by marching bands and floats.
The magazine of Italian Food Wine & Culture has said Saint Anthony’s Feast is “a spectacle no to be missed!”
