Cambridge, MA ranks number 1 with a walk score of 88.8 and features various historical walking tours around the city.

New York, NY comes in at number 2 with a walk score of 85.3 and features The High Line, which transformed 1.45 miles of long-neglected elevated freight train tracks into a birds-eye-view promenade above the shore of the Hudson River.

Jersey City, NJ rounds out the top 3 with a walk score of 85.2 and was also voted “Best Fitness Walking Cities,” by the American Podiatric Medicine Association.
