Brooklyn Bridge History Walk

Timeout New York guides you on a Brooklyn Bridge history walk.  The walking tour starts at the stairway at Cadman Plaza East near Prospect Street, Brooklyn Heights and ends at Broadway at Chambers St. It takes about 30 minutes and is about 1.3 miles. The bridge opened on May 24th, 1883 and it’s estimated that 6,600 people walk or bike across the mile long bridge daily.
