Post Photographers Share Their Favorite Washington Locations

Washingtonpost.com’s Our Washington highlights Post photographers’ favorite area locations. Some of our favorites are:

Gravelly Point Park – Off Northbound George Washington Parkway, just north of Reagan National Airport in Arlington County, is a Washington-area playground called Gravelly Point Park. People at the park watch planes take off a few hundred feet from National Airport’s runway 1/19.

Great Falls  – Great Falls Park is one of the most spectacular and powerful place in the area. As the Potomac river accelerates into this area, hitting jagged cliffs and boulders, it creates a thunderous roar you can hear from the parking lot. A short walk to the overlook and the sound is deafening as huge volumes of water pour cuts through massive rock formations.

Churchill has short-term corporate housing with parking available throughout Washington D.C. and  Nationwide. Please contact us at 866-255-0593 for more information.
