Nevada Approves Driverless Car Law

Hothardware.com has reported that the State of Nevada has passed a bill that will allow autonomous vehicles on the road. Assembly Bill No. 511 which, among other things, provides that the Nevada Department of Transportation “shall adopt regulations authorizing the operation of autonomous vehicles on highways within the State of Nevada.” While autonomous vehicles will not be available to the general public anytime soon, expert prediction that it will take another 8 years for the technology to be mainstream.
