HBO Summer Film Festival in Bryant Park

Listen up movie buffs- beginning June 20th through August 22nd, HBO will be holding their 19th annual summer film festival in Bryant Park. Enjoy a night out under the stars as you watch, well, the stars!

Films will be projected in 35mm on a 20ft high x 40ft wide screen on Monday nights at sunset. The festival kicks off with the classic movie One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest starring the legendary Jack Nicholson and will be introduced by the film’s Oscar winning director, Milos Foreman. And best yet, it’s entirely free!

The lawn opens at 5pm. Snacks, refreshments, and goodies can be purchased at Bryant Park’s food stands and restaurants.

Kick this summer’s Monday Blues to the curb and grab yourself a weekly spot at Bryant Park located behind the New York Public Library between 40th and 42nd Streets & Fifth and Sixth Avenues.
