Secrets of the Washington Arch takes readers inside the Washington Arch.  John Krawchuk, the New York City Parks Department’s director of historic preservation, and the project manager for the arch’s 1997-98 and 2001-04 renovations, gives a tour inside the structure. Inside the arch, a 102-step spiral staircase leads to what once was a Parks office. The top of the arch features skylight doors allowing clear views all the way up Fifth Avenue. Visitors are not allowed inside the arch due to the dangerous staircase and fragile roof.

Churchill has short-term corporate housing available in New York City and Nationwide. Please contact us at 866-255-0593 or for more information.
