New York Smoking Ban Extended to Parks and Coastlines

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has extend New York’s smoking ban to municipal parks and beaches. The new ban will make it an offense to light up in any of the city’s 1,700 parks and along 14 miles of coastline. It will give the city’s Parks Department the power to impose fines of under $100.  Smoking is also prohibited in Los Angeles city parks and in Chicago parks with playgrounds.

Churchill has short-term corporate housing available in New York City and Nationwide. Please contact us at 866-255-0593 or NewYork@FurnishedHousing.com for more information.
