NYC Subway, Images Through the Ages

To mark the subway’s 106th birthday, the New York Times has published the “Subway Issue” with an extensive gallery of subway pictures through the ages. The gallery acknowledges major historic miles stones such as a 1917 photo of Anna Maloney, the first woman guard on the subway and a 1940 photo of Mayor La Guardia cutting the ribbon at the 34th street station opening. It also features a time-line with histroical tidbits spanning from 1910s to now.

Churchill has short-term corporate housing available in New York City and Nationwide. Please contact us at 866-255-0593 or NewYork@FurnishedHousing.com for more information.
