NYC Is Made of Asphalt, Concrete…and Yards?

Wsj.com published a study done by Sustainable Yards which found that residential yards make up 27% percent of the city’s total area — and that’s not counting parks or the greenery found adjacent to sidewalks or on street medians. Sustainable Yards will continue to study the city’s yards which will “determine whether and to what degree these back yards reduce ambient air temperature, alleviating the urban heat island effect, and reduce air pollution, improving air quality.”

Churchill has short-term corporate housing available in New York City and Nationwide. Please contact us at 866-255-0593 or NewYork@FurnishedHousing.com for more information.
