NJ’s Only Steam Locomotive

The New York Susquehanna & Western Technical & Historical Society Inc. was formed in the fall of 1988 which a mission to preserve the rich railroading history of New Jersey. A hallmark of the Society is the Budd Rail Diesel Car which is the only steam locomotive operating in the state of NJ. The New York Susquehanna & Western Technical & Historical Society currently offers several train ride programs for visitors. The wine train travels from Phillipsburg to Warren County wineries while the Mine train visits the Susquehanna Mining Company.
