Four New Lion Cubs at the National Zoo

On August 31, the National Zoo in Washington DC welcomed a litter of four lion cubs. The arrival of the cubs is big news for the zoo, which hasn’t had baby lions in more than 20 years. The cubs will not be out in the yard immediately; In the wild, lions may wait up to six weeks before introducing their cubs to the rest of the pride. You can see a video of the cubs on National Zoo’s YouTube page.

Churchill has short-term temporary housing available in Washington, D.C. and throughout Maryland. Please contact us at 866-255-0593 or DC@furnishedhousing.com for more information.
