Artists Paint Sao Paulo’s Storm Drains

Two artists, Anderson Augusto and Leonardo Delafuente are painting storm drains in the Barra Funda neighborhood of São Paulo in an effort to bring harmony to the passageways of the city with the use of color and bring life and good humor to all. In a tense-filled confusing city, the most prominent colors have long been gray and beige, the painted storm drains are like colorful drops falling into an immense ash-colored canvass. Recently the pair has continued painting storm drains in Barra Funda.
