Cars, Culture, and New York City

The Museum of the City of New York will illustrate the long, complex association between New York City and the automobile with their “Cars, Culture, and the City” exhibit. While no actual cars are featured in this exhibit, the exhibit does feature memorabilia, photographs and advertisements to illustrate how New York helped define the car as the keystone of American life and how the automobile influenced the architecture of the city. The exhibit will run through August.
