Washington DC’s First Contraflow Protected Bike Lane

A Contraflow Protected Bike Lane has come to Washington DC. The District Department of Transportation is installing the bike lane along 15th Street NW. The lane is designed to allow bikers to travel southbound in a protected area on what otherwise is a one-way street northbound. The DDOT is testing the contra concept on the 14-block stretch of 15th between Massachusetts Avenue and U Street.

Churchill has short-term apartments available in Washington, D.C. and throughout Maryland. Please contact us at 866-255-0593 or DC@furnishedhousing.com for more information.
