The Earth Hour movment began 3 years ago in Sydney, Australia, as a way to get an entire city to help do something about climate change. Nearly one billion people turned out for Earth Hour 2009 – involving 4,100 cities in 87 countries on seven continents. Celebrity supporters of Earth Hour include Edward Norton, Gisele Bundchen, Steve Nash and Tom Brady.
