The New York Historical Society’s newest exhibit “Beer Here: Brewing New York’s History” is scheduled to open on May 25th. This exhibit will survey the social, economic, political, and technological history of the production and consumption of beer, ale, and porter in the city from the seventeenth century to the present. The exhibit features artifacts and documents and concludes with a selection of favorite New York City and State artisanal beers.
