Hot Wheels Stunt Driver Breaks World Record

Hot Wheels stunt driver breaks world record ramp-to-ramp jump of 332 feet at this year’s Indy 500. Tanner Foust, the stunt driver, piloted his vehicle up to 104 mph down the ten story ramp for this world record jump. The ramp was modeled after a Hot Wheels V-Drop toy set and was constructed and colored to match the Hot Wheels toy car track set with 500 gallons of orange paint.

World-Record Jump Attempt Set for Indianapolis 500

Wired.com is reporting on the World-Record Jump Attempt Set for Indianapolis 500 staged by Hot Wheels. This jump attempt, called “Hot Wheels Fearless at the 500″ will coordinate with the 100th anniversary of the iconic Indianapolis 500, scheduled for this Memorial Day weekend.

During the IZOD Presents Hot Wheels Fearless at the 500, a masked mystery driver from Team Hot Wheels will speed down a 90-foot ramp, suspended on an enormous 10-story high door (100 feet tall) and soar across the IMS infield inside Turn 4.
