Artbistro.com has named the Top 25 Cities For Designers and Artists. The criteria for the list included the cities’ growth rates, average salaries, costs of living and the rate of unemployment increase since February 2008. Some notable cities on the list include Hartford, CT which made #24 on the list and Nashville, TN which was #15 on the list.

Hartford, Connecticut’s Restaurant Week will run from now until Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010. The program, titled “Taste of Hartford”, will feature restaurants serving 3-course gourmet dinners for $20.10. In addition to this great price, 25¢ cents of every Taste of Hartford purchase will be donated in support of the Greater Hartford Arts Council’s United Arts Campaign. Some of the participating restaurants include Agave Grill & Tequila Bar, City Steam Brewery and Trumbull Kitchen among others.
