Dallasnews.com has a recap of the Texas Stadium implosion which occurred on April 11th. The former home of the Dallas Cowboys was imploded using 2,715 pounds of explosives. Three of the buttresses that supported the roof stuck out of the rubble after the implosion. The buttresses immediately became their own sources of lore, with some believing that the columns stood in honor of the three Super Bowls the Cowboys won during the 90s while others believed it were symbols of the Cowboys’ original architects – former team owner Clint Murchison Jr., general manager Tex Schramm and coach Tom Landry.
Churchill has temporary housing available in Texas. Please contact us at 866-255-0593 or email National@FurnishedHousing.com for more information.
